Peek-a-boo baby

DISCLAIMER: kamahele LOVES the camera (hm...wonder who he gets that from? his aunties?), so in my attempt to conceal myself from taping him, this video was shot from afar angle. Sorry! Buts its just too cute to not put up. This one is for the grandparents who live so far away! :(

Enjoy!

Its been nice that Kamahele has been able to spend 2 whole months with his cousin who is just two weeks older than him. They really enjoying playing, blabbing and stealing things from each other. I know he will miss him lots when he leaves next week. Here are some pictures we took when we went to the park for some fishing festivities. Sad to say, only Kalia caught a fish after about 5 hours of being in the cold water. At least the day wasn't a total waste. Good job Kalia!

Kahi was determined to catch somthing!
playing on the slide

Fun on the swings

oh so typical, he always falls asleep when he gets really comfortable!

....and we're back!

PUMPKIN LAND!

In light of Halloween, we decided to take Kamahele to the land of the Pumpkins for a fun, wholesome family activity. Although he is still very young and doesn't quite understand our excitement for this loved holiday, he still had a good time looking around at all the cool stuff. While there we enjoyed maneuvering around a maze, looking at animals, and oohing and awwing over humongo pumpkins. It was quite the day!

always trying to eat everything!

Yaye! We did it

That squash looked strangely like a witches hand!

He was amazed at the Billy Goat, well either that or stunned by the stench

Gone Fishing!

As you can see Kahi's newest hobby that he picked up is fishing. Now that he is going at least 3 times a week, he has been wanting Kamahele and I to go. Of course I always had an excuse for us to not go but last week I finally ran out of ideas and gave in. So off the the reservoir we went and what do you know, I cast and caught 2 fish. Yaye, the end result.....

(malakai patiently waiting for a bite)

i LOVE fishing!

I had so much fun, thanks Jordon and Amanda.

Cousins!

Can you tell we are related?

Just like daddy.....

In preparation for our much anticipated trip to Hawaii, my mom bought Kamahele a beach hat. But since we aren't there yet, we are trying to make good use of it 1) while its still hot and sunny and 2) so that he gets used to the idea of wearing one. Surprisingly he likes it.....

.......even if it is all up in his face!

Thanks for the hat grandma!

Feed Me!!

Recently Kamahele's appetite has grown from eating 2 times a night to 3-4 times. Talk about a tired mama! Doctor said we could start feeding this big boy rice cereal before bed to hold him over for awhile, so that's exactly what we did. To my surprise he was very patient during the feeding and opened up his mouth well (probably cause he watches us eat). He does make sour faces every once in a while so we arn't sure if he likes it, regardless he still takes it. However, to no avail he still wakes up at least 3 times nightly to feed, oh well.

Amped and ready to chow down on his first taste of cereal

Not quite sure how to eat it

A Duck Story!

Sometimes these 2 ducks come and visit our complex, probably because all the little kiddies keep feeding them bread. So a couple of days ago Kahi decided to take the babes to go see them.....

......needless to say, Kamahele was AMAZED by them.....

.....so why the sour face son?

I have no idea.....Maybe he wanted me to stop trying to get his attention so he could.....

marvel at the ducks!
The END

Wedding Bells

Last week, we enjoyed attending Kahi cousin's (Micah Kamoe) wedding. We had lots of fun spending time with some of the family from Hawaii. Here are some of the picutres we took...enjoy!
